Withdrawal policy

Who this applies to

This policy applies to you if you are a consumer — a natural person buying a Sitebin plan for purposes outside your trade, business or profession — and you bought the plan online through app.sitebin.io. It does not apply to business customers, to Enterprise licences (which are sold to businesses), or to the free Drop and Free tiers, where nothing is paid.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract — that is, from the day your plan was bought at checkout.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us,

of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

If you requested to begin the performance of services during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated to us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.

Starting immediately, and when the right is lost

A Sitebin plan is a service that begins the moment it is bought: your caps are raised at once and your sites stop expiring. So that you do not have to wait 14 days for the plan to start, the checkout asks you to expressly request that we begin performing the service immediately, before the withdrawal period ends, and to acknowledge the consequences:

• If you withdraw after making that request, you pay the proportionate amount for the part of the service already provided — the days between purchase and your withdrawal, at the daily rate of the plan you bought — and the rest is refunded as described above.
• Once the service has been fully performed within the withdrawal period, you lose the right of withdrawal (§ 18 (1) 1 FAGG).
• To the extent a plan supplies digital content not on a tangible medium, you lose the right of withdrawal as soon as we have begun performance with your prior express consent and your acknowledgement that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal (§ 18 (1) 11 FAGG).

If you do not make that request at checkout, the plan starts only when the 14 days have passed, and your right of withdrawal is unaffected until then.

Cancelling is not withdrawing

The right of withdrawal is separate from cancelling a plan. You can cancel at any time in the plan page of your account, with effect at the end of the period already paid for — no reason, no notice period, no form. Withdrawal within the first 14 days undoes the purchase itself and refunds it, less the proportionate amount for the days used if you asked us to start immediately. The terms of service describe both.
